Lazar Markovic

After signing 18 year old Bertrand Traore the London outfit are set to sign two more teenage sensations who play at Mourinho’s previous clubs Benfica and Inter Milan.

Lazar Markovic is a 19 year old Winger from Benfica has has caught the eye of the Special one after his displays in the Europa League for the Serbian Super League team Partizan. In the 2013 summer transfer window there were speculations regarding his future and it was believed that Chelsea had captured the Serbian international and had plans to loan him to Benfica. In a drastic turn of events it was announced that no such arrangements were made and Markovic signed a transfer deal with Benfica. The right footed winger who can play as a striker has played nine games for the Serbian National team and is said to cost Mourinho around €10m.

Pedro Delgado

16 year old Pedro Delgado who currently plays for Inter Milan is the other target for the Blues. The under-16 Portuguese international was signed for a three year deal from second division Portuguese side Portimonense also plays in the wings and is touted as the next big thing in Portugal.

With Chelsea’s transfer policy of signing of young players and loaning them out, the deals are most likely to happen but with no dearth of talent for Chelsea in the attacking midfield area it remains to be seen whether the teenagers will fancy their chances with the European giants. Chelsea currently have young wingers Christian Atsu, Lucas Piazon, George Saville, Milan Lalkovic, Stipe Perica and Thorgan Hazard on loan at various clubs.
