David Silva has been speaking while away with Spain and about Chelsea's lead in particular. He believes that despite the five point gap between the sides, it's going to be difficult for us to win it. He said:
"Chelsea have made great transfers, they have a great team, a great squad, But it doesn't mean things are going to be easy, especially in England.
“I think we all need to take stock of where we are into the season and keep our feet on the ground. We are only two months into the season and there is such a long, long way to go. One thing I will say is that it is important to be top at this stage of the season and to keep winning games.
“In doing so, it puts pressure on our rivals at this stage of the season to maintain their form to keep up with us. Chelsea have done well to bridge a five point gap to City, an eight point gap to Man Utd and nine points to Arsenal and Liverpool. If we can maintain our form in the coming weeks leading up to Christmas, who knows just how far in front of our main rivals we will be!“
