Former Chelsea goalkeeper not impressed by Santi Cazorla's cheeky 'Panenka' penalty

Santi Cazorla chips the ball over Newcastle keeper Jak Alnwick to score the 4th Arsenal goal from the penalty spot.

Santi Cazorla was one of the scorers during Arsenal’s convincing 4-1 win over Newcastle on Sunday as he scored from the spot-kick with a cheeky penalty shot.

Arsenal were already leading 3-1 against Alan Pardew’s men as the Spaniard converted the penalty comfortably with a chip past Newcastle goalkeeper Jak Alnwick in the 89th minute. The Gunners were awarded the penalty after striker Danny Welbeck was brought down inside the box.

However, former Chelsea goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini was not impressed with Cazorla’s penalty who felt it was disrespectful of the midfielder to go for a cheeky shot as this one when they were already two goals up head.

He wrote on Twitter saying, “Well done Cazorla, 88th minute 3-1...very brave!! Would love to see it in a penalty that count. #notimpressed"
