Raheem Sterling was on target twice for Manchester City as they put 8 past a hapless Vietnam team. Aleksandr Kolarov and David Silva also scored doubles as the Citizens romped home in style. Goals from Jose Pozo and Marcos Lopes made up the numbers for the Sky Blues while Van Queyet pulled one back for Vietnam late in the game.
The English side led by 4 goals at half time and set up a second half in which 5 goals would be scored, of which Vietnam scored only 1. Sterling had a superb outing for City as he scored two, assisted David Silva for one of his goals and won a penalty for Kolarov to convert.
They will play their last pre-season friendly against Stuttgart this weekend before starting the season against West Brom on August 10.
