Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has secured yet another record to his name in the history books as he became the manager with the highest appearances in the UEFA Champions League.

By eliminating Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain after their close-encountered victory over two legs, Jose Mourinho reached the semi-finals for the eighth time in his career, thus bettered Sir Alex Ferguson’s 7-semi-finals record.

Mourinho was tied with Ferguson after reaching the stage while managing Porto in 2004, Chelsea in 2005 and 2007, Inter in 2010, Real Madrid in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
