AS Roma have braced themselves to losing superstar midfielder Radja Nainggolan, with reports suggesting that the Belgian is Manchester United’s top target for the summer transfer window, even ahead of Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Red Devils could prize the 29-year-old away for £39.6m with Roma aware that the midfielder’s transfer value will only decrease from here.


Chelsea’s top defensive target to stay put at Juventus

According to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, Chelsea are set to face disappointment in their pursuit of Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci as the defender is central to manager Massimiliano Allegri’s plans and the Italian has still any potential move for the 30-year-old.


Juventus eye Paris Saint-Germain superstar

Juventus are set to launch a bid for PSG superstar Blaise Matuidi as they aim to strengthen their squad to challenge for the UEFA Champions League next season, having failed at the final hurdle of the prestigious tournament this year. According to Tuttosport, the Old Lady consider Matuidi as the cheaper alternative to their #1 target Steven N’Zonzi of Sevilla, as the Frenchman only has one year left on his contract with the Parc des Princes outfit.

Borussia Dortmund are confident that Ousmane Dembele will stay at the club despite interest from some oof Europe’s biggest clubs including Manchester City and Barcelona. According to German daily Bild, the Signal Iduna Park outfit have slapped a £79.3m price tag on the Frenchman and still haven’t received any formal offer for the services of the 20-year-old.


Bayer Leverkusen star to snub Bayern Munich

Bayer Leverkusen start Julian Brandt is set to snub interest from Bayern Munich as he has ruled out a summer exit from his present club. The 21-year-old has also attracted interest from Liverpool but is set to stay at BayArena and help his team recover from a disappointing campaign.

Speaking in an interview with Kicker, Brandt said: "My gut feeling and my head are telling me the time to move has not arrived yet. I have to straighten things out in Leverkusen. Of course, there are players who say a year without European football before the World Cup is good reason to move. But if you move to a bigger club a year before the World Cup, you risk taking time at first to settle which possibly means playing fewer games."


RB Leipzig slap £70m price tag on Liverpool target

Liverpool will have to smash their transfer record for the second time this summer if they want to prize away Naby Keita from RB Leipzig this summer, according to the Guardian. The Reds splashed a club record £36.9m for the services of Mohamed Salah recently but they will now have to almost double it if they want to prize the 22-year-old away from the German club.

According to French newspaper Le10Sport, Borussia Dortmund superstar Ousmane Dembele has travelled to Manchester to discuss the possibility of a move to Manchester City. However, the report adds that it is not yet known whether the Frenchman has gone to England with the permission of the Signal Iduna Park or not.


Chelsea willing to make Juventus superstar world’s most expensive defender

Premier League champions Chelsea are set to break the bank for Juventus full-back Alex Sandro, according to La Stampa. The Blues are ready to offer up to £60m for the services oof the Brazilian, which will make him the most expensive defender in the history of football. Not only that, the report adds that the defender is keen to leave Turin to sign for the London outfit.


Manchester City looking to sign 3 players before pre-season tour

According to English newspaper Daily Mail, Manchester City are looking to complete the signing of three full-backs before the side leaves for their pre-season tour of United States next month. The report adds that two out of the three full-backs are Tottenham Hotspur’s Kyle Walker and Juventus’ Dani Alves.

Everton have agreed a £6.8m deal for the services of KAS Eurpen striker Henry Onyekuru according to SKy Sports. The 20-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal since the end of the season, after having finished as the top scorer in Belgium. According to the report, as Onyekuru is still not eligible for work-permit he will be loaned to Anderlecht.

Barcelona suffer huge blow in pursuit of #1 target

Barcelona are set to miss out on their top summer target, once again, with Chinese Super League outfit Guangzhou Evergrande unwilling to allow midfielder Paulinho to leave the club. According to manager Luiz Felipe Scolari, the club will not allow any potential departure of the former Tottenham Hotspur star as a replacement will be too expensive for the club.

According to new rules imposed by the Chinese Super League, a club is charged 100 percent levy on transfer fees above £5.2m, which will go into youth development. However, there is a £35m release clause in Paulinho's contract and that is the only hope that the Catalan giants have.

Speaking in an interview, as quoted by Marca, Scolari said: "His release clause is 40 m euros and none of the Chinese clubs will let their key players go because it would be difficult and expensive to find a replacement due to the new rules."


Barcelona set to activate buy-back clause of former star

According to Sport, Barcelona are set to activate the buy-back clause of former winger Gerard Deulofeu, who is currently under contract with Everton. The Spaniard has a £10.5m buy-back clause in his contract which will be active until the 30th of June and the Camp Nou outfit are willing to exercise it.

Real Madrid are set to confirm the capture of Atletico Madrid left-back Theo Hernandez next week, according to Spanish daily Marca. The Santiago Bernabeu outfit have long been linked with a move for the 19-year-old, who impressed during his loan spell with Alaves last season.

PSG’s 4-man transfer shortlist

Ligue 1 giants PSG have chalked up a 4-man shortlist for the summer transfer window, according to French newspaper Le Parisien. The 4 names on the shortlist are that of AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma – who is currently at loggerheads with the San Siro outfit over a new contract, Borussia Dortmund full-back Raphael Guerreiro and AS Monaco duo of Kylian Mbappe and Fabinho. Mbappe has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid and Arsenal, while Fabinho is a top target for Manchester United.


Leicester City midfielder set to France return

Leicester City midfielder Nampalys Mendy is opent ot a return to France, with Bordeaux and Nantes interested in his services. The 25-year-old signed for the Foxes last season, joining them from Nice for a fee in the region of £13m.

Speaking in an interview with L’Equipe, Mendy said: "I heard about the interest of Nantes but neither me nor my adviser have been contacted. Anyway, since my adviser talked to me about the possibility of joining Bordeaux, I'm set on it.”
