As surprising as it might feel or look like, some would argue that a defeat like this was always on the cards for Manchester City who had recently hit the rough spot. But, it seems like Manchester United have achieved what they have failed to do so in the past few seasons – a convincing victory over their city rivals.
It was Manchester City who opened the scoring through Sergio Aguero in the 8th minute of the match. However, the Red Devils did well to make a comeback as they managed to score past Joe Hart on four occasions with goals from Ashley Young, Marouane Fellaini, Juan Mata and Chris Smalling.
