When Frank Lampard departed from Chelsea after being their star man for more than a decade – scoring 211 goals in 648 matches – supporters’ jaws had dropped a bit. Jaws had dropped even further when the 36-year-old proceeded to become a Manchester City player, on loan from MLS side New York City.
On a recent show however, it was Frank Lampard’s jaws which dropped visibly – on being called a Manchester City legend by TV presenter Holly Willoughby.
Lampard has impressed for Manchester City, scoring 7 goals in 34 matches, but it is no secret that he has played out his best years for the London club.
