Yohan Cabaye may consider leaving Paris Saint-Germain in the next transfer window. The France midfielder left Newcastle United for the French club for £19 million last January but has started only seven of PSG's matches this season. The Frenchman may leave Parc des Princes this winter after finding first-team chances hard to come by.
The likes of Marco Verratti, Thiago Motta, Javier Pastore and Blaise Matuidi are ahead of him in the pecking order, and even youngster Adrian Rabiot has been given more playing time than Cabaye.
His teammate Javier Pastore admitted that the Les Blues international would be reluctant to leave Parc des Princes, but thinks that a lack of playing time may force the man who starred for the Magpies to consider his options.
Pastore said, “I don’t think that he wants to leave but it’s true that we have a lot of midfielders I hope he will make the best possible choice for him: either leave to get a game or stay here and earn his place.”
He could be set for a quick return to the Premier League just one year after leaving England, with a host of English clubs said to be chasing his signature following reports saying he’s unhappy at Paris Saint-Germain.
Possible return to Premier League for the Frenchman
Former Lyon forward Sonny Anderson also thinks that Cabaye should leave PSG during the January transfer window. The Brazilian feels that if Arsenal show interest in signing him he should look at the possibility of a return to England.

In another hypothetical situation, Paris St. Germain may be forced to sell Cabaye off to comply with Financial Fair Play if they are to make another extravagant purchase. But then there are so many players they could sell.
I don't see him returning to Newcastle due to their absence from European competitions. Even Alan Pardew admitted that though Newcastle would love to have him back, the player may be reluctant to return.
Manchester United have continuously looked light in midfield. Cabaye can prove to be an able successor to the ageing Michael Carrick. Cabaye would contribute significantly to Louis van Gaal’s team and help them get back into the Champions League.
Arsenal have been linked with a host of midfield names recently. Cabaye looks a reasonable choice given Mikel Arteta is on the last leg of his career and long-term ankle ligament injury to Jack Wilshere and added to it is the fact that Cabaye has similar attributes as them.
These three are only some of the clubs reportedly chasing his signature. Reports suggest that even Liverpool are in the mix owing to their underachievements so far this season.
