Combat sports fans have joined in praise of Nong-O Hama's masterful performance over knockout artist 'Left Meteorite' Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai.

The former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion fought a lot like his former self when he avoided the sting of defeat with a decisive victory at ONE Friday Fight 58: Superbon vs. Grigorian on April 5.

Previously, Nong-O suffered two devastating losses via knockout over Europe's best strikers - surging Scottish superstar Nico Carillo and divisional champion 'The General' Jonathan Haggerty.

Difficult as it was to bounce back from a losing streak, especially after establishing himself as one of the best pound-for-pound strikers in the world, Nong-O's devotion to his craft continues to remind us that he is still a lethal force to be reckoned with.

After breaking his two-fight losing streak with a hard-fought victory, the fans on Instagram couldn't help but express their elation for their Thai hero. One of the comments read:

"Good come back from Nong o. Close fight"

"I also have a lot of experience that they should be careful of" - Nong-O Hama warns competitors not to underestimate his power

Few fighters in this era have the same kind of power and skill as Nong-O Hama displays at age 37.

The Thai icon has had a great amount of success in the Muay Thai world before signing with ONE Championship in 2018. With over 300 bouts to his name, Nong-O Hama has always been the guy to beat before, during, and after his prime years.

He is a master at reading opponents, sharp and accurate, highly intuitive, and more. If fans have crossed him out after a few bad performances, then they have another thing coming.

Speaking to ONE Championship, Nong-O said:

"I feel like other fighters had underestimated me because of my age. But I don't think they realize that I am still powerful, my body is still good, my physical strength is still good, and I can still fight, of course. I also have a lot of experience that they should be careful of."
