Henry Cejudo has been incredibly active on social media following the conclusion of UFC 280. 'Triple C' is known to be vocal and take jibes at other fighters. The controversy surrounding T.J. Dillashaw's shoulder injury has given Cejudo plenty of ammunition.

The former two-division UFC champion recently released a video on his YouTube channel, during which he gave his thoughts on the anticlimactic end to the co-main event at last weekend's pay-per-view.

Cejudo described Dillashaw's actions as "a shot in the foot for all of us," suggesting that he helped make Sterling look significantly better than he really is:

"There's too man guys that could actually beat T.J., and him being injured going into a championship fight like that, it's super serious. You know, you made Aljamain Sterling look so much better than he really is. I actually thought you were going to win. You had me convinced."

Henry Cejudo and T.J. Dillashaw are past opponents, having faced off in 2019. It was also the fight that blew Dillashaw's EPO scandal wide open.

Henry Cejudo plans to 'send Aljamain Sterling packing to 145 pounds'

Henry Cejudo retired from MMA in May 2020. However, 'Triple C' has teased a return to the octagon ever since.

Now, it appears that Cejudo is genuine about his intentions to make a comeback. He wasted little time in calling out Aljamain Sterling following the champ's win against T.J Dillashaw at UFC 280:

"All you guys are baby sitting my belt, all you sorry-a** 135 pounders. There is one king, and his name is Triple C. You're gonna get it, sign the contract h*e."

Aljamain Sterling has since doubted the level of interest a fight with Cejudo would bring, and it seems that 'Triple C' thinks the champion is scared to fight him.

Ideally, Cejudo is looking to fight on on the same card that Makhachev vs. Volkanovski is slated to take place on. That means that if everything goes to plan for 'Triple C', he will be fighting for the bantamweight title in February 2023.

Henry Cejudo released a video on his YouTube channel discussing the fight, and said this:

"It's me and you next. Now make money before I send you that pink slip... If you wanna be the best, then that's it. You may have the UFC belt, but that doesn't mean you're the best in the world. The best in the world is right here... Let's try do the Islam vs. Volkanovski PPV, you make a whole lot of money and I send you packing to 145 pounds."
