"I shouldn't hear anything from Bruce Arians" - NFL analyst blasts ex-Buccaneers HC for throwing Tom Brady under the bus

Bruce Arians recently claimed that Tom Brady was playing "bad football" at the beginning of the season. The Buccaneers were off to a very poor start in the 2022 campaign and people began doubting Brady. As a former head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and a Super Bowl-winning one at that, Arians should probably be allowed to share his thoughts.

However, the Buccaneers have bounced back well as they defeated the Los Angeles Rams and the Seattle Seahawks in their last two games. Tom Brady has played exceptionally well in both of those games.

Interestingly, Chris Broussard didn't like Arians talking that way about Brady. Broussard said the following on First Things First:

"You're the senior football consultant. That's his title. How many other consultants are out there talking about their team and on the sideline. I shouldn't hear anything from Bruce Arians. Alright, leave it alone."

He added:

"Brady, I think the criticism of Brady was that he wasn't all in if you really want to be bringing criticism say he really wasn't on here. You saw what happened in training camp. You saw him going to the weddings. That was the issue. Now he's all in. I don't think he was playing bad. He wasn't playing great."

Many believe Bruce Arians is unhappy about losing the head coaching job at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This was rumored to be partly due to Tom Brady's return to the NFL. While not many have the guts to call out a player like Brady, the 70-year-old hasn't hesitated this season.

Tom Brady is 2-0 since getting divorced from Gisele Bundchen

Tom Brady was certainly impacted by the circumstances in his personal life and that appears to have affected his performances on the field. He finalized his divorce from supermodel Gisele Bundchen and since then, things have improved for the Buccaneers.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 2-0 since Brady's divorce and are in the right spot to make the playoffs once again. Being in one of the worst divisions in football has helped them keep their season alive, but it is up to Brady and his teammates to play to their potential.

Tom Brady and the Buccaneers will be tough to beat in the playoffs for a variety of factors. One of which is the experience that they have throughout their roster. As such, they are a legitimate dark horse contender to make it out of the NFC this season.
