Shane went against his father before, and can do it again this year

One of the most ballsy moves in the history of the WWEIf you turn back the clock and recollect the Superstars who were involved in some of the greatest moments in company’s history, one name that keeps popping up is of Shane McMahon’s. Born with a silver spoon, Shane O’Mac didn’t have to put his body on the line, but the daredevil never shied away from taking some of the most insane risks imaginable in WWE.From being thrown from the top of the Titantron to being suplexed through a glass wall, Shane has done it all in the company. While Shane has been away from WWE for the good part of a decade, the Universe still longs for the former WWE Hardcore champion to return to the organization. The McMahons have been featured prominently on WWE programming recently, with The Authority, and now Vince McMahon getting involved in major storylines. While reports had earlier suggested that Shane had grown disenchanted of wrestling, the platform is now set for the young McMahon to return to the organization. In this article, we give you three possible scenarios which can see Shane McMahon making a triumphant return to the company.

#1 Shane McMahon helps Roman Reigns retain his title

Shane went against his father before, and can do it again this year

We all know the history between Shane McMahon and Vince McMahon. The father-son duo weren’t always on the same page, and had a heated rivalry more than a decade ago. Shane and Triple H also fought against each other several times in the past, and it would be relatively easy for WWE creative to pit Shane against his own blood.

One can imagine a scenario, either at the Royal Rumble or WWE Fastlane when The Authority, thanks to a returning Triple H would once again stack the odds against the current WWE World Heavyweight champion, Roman Reigns. Given’s Triple H’s rivalry with Shane McMahon, it would add more intrigue to the story if Shane ran down and saved Roman Reigns, aligning himself with the second generation superstar.

This would eventually lead to a match between Shane McMahon and Triple H at WrestleMania, while Roman Reigns would headline the PPV against Brock Lesnar, providing the WWE Universe with two marquee matches at the grandest stage.

#2 Shane returns and helps Triple H win the title at WrestleMania

We can see the trio reunite at WrestleMania 32

If the dirt sheets are to be believed, Triple H is set to headline this year’s WrestleMania against Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight championship. With Roman Reigns taking out Vince McMahon and facing the wrath of the entire McMahon family, it could lead to Shane McMahon returning at WrestleMania during the main event.

WrestleMania is known to provide the WWE Universe with iconic moments, and this year’s mega event could do just that by marking the return of Shane O’Mac to the WWE. With the referee down, Shane McMahon can make his return and attack Roman Reigns, leading to Triple H taking out the Samoan superstar and win the WWE World Heavyweight title.

Family comes first – a motto the McMahons have lived by for years, and Shane can produce the defining moment of the year by helping Triple H win the title, and put an end to Roman’s reign at WrestleMania 32.

#3 Power struggle in the family for complete control over WWE

Will the sibling rivalry take a new turn at WrestleMania?

The third possible scenario could see Shane challenging Mr. McMahon and Stephanie McMahon for the control of the company. While Stephanie and Vince have thwarted every possible challenge, Shane McMahon’s return could see the McMahon clan get into a power struggle for the complete control over the company.

Much like the previous Invasion angle back in early 2000s, Shane could stand up against his father and his reign of terror, leading up to a match at WrestleMania with the company’s future hanging in the balance.

Also, with recent reports of Stephanie McMahon training for an in-ring match at WrestleMania, this could be the perfect opportunity to involve “Daddy’s princess”, pitting her against her own brother.

Paige was rumored to get into a feud with Stephanie for months, and that could finally happen at WrestleMania, with Paige teaming up with Shane McMahon against the team of Stephanie and Vince.

This could also be the perfect opportunity for Vince McMahon to bid his final farewell to the WWE Universe, while Roman Reigns finally puts an end to Triple H’s challenge, marking the end of The Authority at WrestleMania 32.
