WWE Money in the Bank 2014: Final Match card Analysis and Predictions

The WWE fans are prepared to witness another pay-per-view on Sunday as the company will present them with the fifth Money in the Bank.Four matches were added to the pay-per-view with almost all the big names involved in ladder matches. From the two ladder matches in the pay-per-view, one will decide the new WWE World Heavyweight champion while the other will determine who holds the briefcase. There are also matches were the tag title and Divas title will be on the line as the respective champions will be met with some credible challenger. With the match card set now, here is a look at the predictions and analysis for the same.

#4 Paige (c) vs. Naomi (WWE Divas Championship)

Though it seemed like Cameron was destined to face Paige at Money in the bank, Naomi got the pick and she deserves it as well.

Naomi has been one of the most improved divas in the roster when it comes to in ring performance and WWE acknowledged the fact by giving her a shot.

Paige on the other side has started to show signs of what she is all about and WWE even gave her a place in commentary to test how the fans will react when she speaks. It hasn’t been the best booking so far for Paige and hopefully things might change after this match.

The title is not going off the waist of Paige for sure and the only thing Naomi could do on Sunday is play a good foe to the Divas champion.

Predictions: Paige wins

#3 Seth Rollins vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Jack Swagger vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Bad News Barrett vs. Dean Ambrose (Money in the Bank ladder match for a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match contract)

The stakes are pretty much high for this one and the competitors are mostly midcarders who are presented with the chance to make it big.

Biggest subplot to follow in this one would clearly be the Seth Rollins- Dean Ambrose angle. Ambrose has managed to show the fans how unpredictable he can be and when the bell rings he will be in it to take out Rollins rather than win it.

As far as the rest of the field is concerned, all of the superstars are Money in the Bank veterans and knows what is feels to win one. Kofi Kingston is in the match to pull of another epic moment to remember while Van Dam could do something similar.

Ziggler and Barrett might push forward the feud that they are having at the moment while Jack Swagger brings in some more star power. Despite all this, Seth Rollins is the clear favorite as the win will carry forward his momentum.

Predictions: Seth Rollins wins

#2 The Usos vs. Luke Harper and Erick Rowan (Tag Team match for the WWE Tag Team Championship)

The two credible tag teams left in the division will be battling to reign supreme at Money in the Bank. The WWE will be well aware that they should build the division around these two teams and showed signs of it when they gave the Wyatts a new entrance.

Tag titles have become stale on the Usos because of the lack of competition they have and this is the right time to pull the plug.

With Stardust and Goldust coming up from one end of the roster, the WWE will have to present them with heel opponents making Wyatt Family the automatic choice.

A Wyatt Family win could also open the door for friction between the two and Bray Wyatt provided that the latter doesn’t win his match.

Prediction: Wyatt Family wins

#1 Alberto Del Rio vs. Randy Orton vs. Sheamus vs. Cesaro vs. Bray Wyatt vs. Roman Reigns vs. John Cena vs. Kane (Ladder match for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship)

It’s a match that has all the ingredients to make it the show stealer of the night. The stakes are also high on this one while the unpredictability factor is the major attraction.

With all the talent involved, it’s going to be a mix of many styles even though we are not going to see many extreme spots. Former champions like Alberto Del Rio, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Kane and John Cena would be having an upper hand over the younger brigade as they still has some progress to cover.

From the lot, Del Rio can be counted out first as he was booked with the least momentum heading into the match. Sheamus is also not going to hold three titles at once as it would be a waste of the title that he holds now.

Randy Orton, Kane and John Cena are the front runners if WWE does not take any risks. Orton winning will build up a good feud with Daniel Bryan when he returns while Kane winning would give him one final run and resume the heat that he had with Bryan.

Cena has been the go to guy for WWE for a long time now, but since they are getting a lot of heat from the crowd, the title might just end up with Orton or Kane.

The personal favorite from the two would be Kane as he deserves to have another go while waiting for Bryan to return.

Prediction: Kane wins
