WWE Hell in a Cell 2014: Rusev vs Big Show - 3 possible endings

After weeks and weeks of to and fro action, the feud between Rusev and Big Show looks to be ready for a climax at Hell in a Cell. As far as Rusev is concerned, it would be another chance to make United States look inferior and add another big win to his resume. For Show however, it is something more. He has the expectations of the WWE Universe on his shoulder while there is personal vendetta with Rusev over what he did to Show’s friend, Mark Henry.Big Show taking down the Russian flag has bought this feud to main stream attention which means that the WWE has all the ammunition they need to pull of something brilliant at HIAC.Though it might only be another midcard bout at the pay-per-view it has a lot of importance in building Rusev up as a top heel, so here is a look at the possible endings that the creative team could come up with.

#3 Rock makes America proud

In the week after Show had heroic outing with the Russian flag, WWE decided to keep him out of television to ease up the heat a bit. And Show’s absence proved to be a big advantage for the Bulgarian Brute as he was paired with a returning Rock.

Sharing the squared circle with someone as big as the Rock was certainly a career changer for Rusev and it exposed the intentions that WWE when it comes to him.

There are also rumors making rounds about Rusev – Rock actually happening for WrestleMania next year and though that is a long shot, the fans deserve another confrontation between the two.

After Rusev wins the match against Show, Rock could come out to save Show form getting further humiliated. The Brahma Bull getting another one over Rusev would make the fans happy as well.

#2 Its all about the giants

Mark Henry’s presence is the biggest subplot heading into the match between Rusev and Big Show. Rusev laid out Henry at WWE’s last pay-per-view outing and the World’s Strongest man hasn’t been on top of his game after that defeat.

He went on to have a frustrating feud with Bo Dallas after the Rusev episode and Henry started showing signs of a heel turn against the inspirational one.

This week Henry came out and cost Big Show his match which will be another interesting thing to watch out. Show wouldn’t be happy if the match ends in a similar way at Hell in a Cell.

However, if WWE goes with that option, we will end up with a heel giant in the roster which is more than necessary at the moment.

#1 Rise of the Bulgarian Brute

Rusev has been protected big time by the WWE ever since he set foot into the main roster. He has not been pinned during this current run and Rusev could go a step further by defeating Big Show at Hell in a Cell.

Show is a well achieved veteran in the roster with championships from WCW, ECW and WWE being part of his resume. Getting one clean win over Show would raise Rusev’s stock right into the skies.

The segment he had with Rock is an indication about how he is built up as a top heel in the roster and a win at Hell in a Cell is must if that process is to be made fast.

There are bigger things in the roster left for Rusev to explore in the roster after Big Show and for that, he should end his feud with the giant at HIAC itself.
