On Sunday, April 2, Louisiana State University faced the Iowa Hawkeyes at the American Airlines Center for their championship game, where they defeated Hawkeye state 102-85.

Additionally, she shared an image of Angel Reese delivering a taunt to Clark, reminiscent of John Cena's iconic "You Can't See Me" gesture.

The on-court relationship and matching mindset of Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula have been crucial to their recent success in the 2023 Miami Open women's doubles. Their winning mentality complements each other, but Gauff has revealed significant differences in the duo's personalities.

Gauff and Pegula faced Taylor Townsend and Leylah Fernandez in the women's doubles final at the 2023 Miami Open on Sunday, April 2. The Americans secured the opening set with a 14-point tie-break and then proceeded to dominate the second set, ultimately achieving a 7-6(6), 6-2 victory.

The American duo were overjoyed after clinching their second doubles title of the season, and the fact that they accomplished this feat in front of their home crowd made the victory all the more special. During the post-match press conference, Gauff expressed her gratitude for the support of their families and how much it meant to them to win in their presence.

"We're super excited. This tournament is one of those tournaments that you grow up watching, and I think it feels even more special than some of the other 1000s we won. Doing it in front of our family, it means a lot," she said.

The 19-year old claimed that their distinct approaches are a reflection of their contrasting personalities, stating that she is more "fiery" compared to her rather "cool" counterpart.

"I think it mimics how we are emotionally. She's more cool; I'm more fiery. It works for our personalities," she added.

Pegula will next be in action at the Charleston Open, whereas Coco Gauff has decided to give the WTA 500 event a skip.
