Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian praises college basketball star Caitlin Clark

Serena Williams' husband and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian recently commended Iowa Hawkeyes basketball star Caitlin Clark following her outstanding performances at the 2023 Women's National Championship.

On Friday, March 31, Clark led Iowa to their first NCAA tournament final by defeating the defending champions, South Carolina. She was a force to be reckoned with in the Hawkeyes' 77-73 victory, finishing with an impressive 41 points, six rebounds, and eight assists.

On Sunday, April 2, Louisiana State University faced the Iowa Hawkeyes at the American Airlines Center for the championship game where they defeated Hawkeye state. It was a bittersweet ending for Caitlin Clark, who had one of the most outstanding individual seasons in college basketball history.

Just Women's Sports took to Twitter to share a clip from the post-match press conference where Clark was asked about her impact on growing women's basketball and attracting young fans to play the game.

"I want my legacy to be the impact that I can have on young kids and the people in the state of Iowa. I hope I brought them a lot of joy this season," Clark answered with tears in her eyes.

Alexis Ohanian shared the tweet and praised the 21-year-old for her exceptional talent and remarkable legacy. He described the Iowan as a generational talent, which is a testament to her incredible achievements thus far.

"An absolutely generational talent. @CaitlinClark22 has already created an amazing legacy and I know the best is yet to come. You have SO much to be proud of," Ohanian tweeted.
