Brock Lesnar is back!

This week’s WWE Raw Supershow takes place at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. With Brock Lesnar returning to the WWE on last week’s Raw, this show is one of the most anticipated Raw’s in the recent past. Furthermore, there are plenty of reasons to watch this week’s Raw. Here’s some of them:

Brock Lesnar expected to explain his attack on John Cena:

Last week, the WWE Universe were surprised as the ‘Anomaly’ made his return after a 8-year exile. John Cena was expecting to see the Rock but out came Brock Lesnar, who shocked the fans by delivering the F5 to John Cena. The question on everyone’s mind is ‘Why attack John Cena?’ With Brock being advertised to appear on Raw, we can expect a reason from Brock on his actions.

The Three Stooges on Raw:

The new Three Stooges - actor Sean Hayes as Larry, Will Sasso as Curly and Chris Diamantopoulos as Moe, will be the guest hosts on Raw. They will be promoting their upcoming movie on the show.

Chris Jericho – CM Punk saga:

Last week, CM Punk viciously attacked CM Punk with a bottle of alcohol. He trash-talked CM Punk and his family. ‘The Voice of the Voiceless’ CM Punk is expected to have a say in this regard on this week’s Raw. Punk wouldn’t take Chris Jericho’s action which aim at demeaning his status as a ‘Straightedge’ guy lightly. We can expect some pipebombs from the ‘Best in the World’.

Dolph Ziggler to be separated from Vickie and Swagger?

Dolph Ziggler might finally get out of Vickie Guerrero’s stable courtesy of what happened on last week’s Raw. Jack Swagger did not come to the aid of Dolph as he was getting mauled by Funkasaurus. This separation storyline is the best way to go if WWE want Dolph Ziggler to rise to a main event level star – something which he deserves. The question is, will it happen sooner rather than later?

Daniel Bryan’s time to shine:

The 18 second world title loss at Wrestlemania has had a boomerang effect on the Daniel Bryan’s fortune. The crowd have been very vocal expressing their support for Bryan at Wrestlemania and also on Raw. The ‘YES!’ chants have gone viral and Daniel Bryan has even got a new ‘YES! YES! YES!’ T-shirt. It is the best time for Bryan to be billed as a main event star. It is good that he has been separated from AJ. Now it is all about him. With the amount of support that he is getting, will he be continued to be booked as a heel or will he turn face? This week’s Raw will give us an indication on this regard.

Extreme Rules announcements:

Wrestlemania hangover is done and dusted and it is time that WWE moves on, building towards their next PPV – Extreme Rules, which is just 3 weeks away. The challenger for CM Punk’s WWE Championship may be announced on Raw. Though Chris Jericho might be the obvious option, Big Johnny might spring a few surprises.

Lord Tensai might get a new feud:

Lord Tensai made an triumphant debut last week, brutalizing Alex Riley. We will come to know more about his Japanese background in the coming weeks. WWE has stuck to reality, admitting that Lord Tensai is a former WWE superstar (A-Train a.k.a. Albert) who went to Japan and dominated the competition in his stint there. With a slew of WWE superstars making their debut/return last week (Brock Lesnar, Alberto Del Rio, Ryback, Damien Sandows & Abraham Washington), Lord Tensai may get lost in the shuffle. So, it is important for him to get over with the crowd pretty soon. He might get injected into a new feud or may continue to dominate the jobbers.

Mick Foley advertised for the show and other details:

Hardcore Legend Mick Foley has been advertised to appear on Raw. It will be interesting to see whether he will be involved in a segment with the Three Stooges or has any other important role to play on the show.

The Dark match scheduled for the show is John Cena and CM Punk vs. Kane and Chris Jericho.

The Smackdown superstars who are scheduled to appear on Raw are Randy Orton, Sheamus, Mark Henry, Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, Big Show, Alberto Del Rio and Christian.

The Bottom-Line:

Last week’s Raw was fabulous. It will be interesting to see whether WWE capitalizes on the interest generated on their product courtesy of that show.
