WWE WrestleMania 40 just took place earlier this month, and now their upcoming Premium Live Event is less than two weeks away. Backlash France is set to air on Saturday, May 4th, but this won't be the only massive show the company will stage next month.

The 2024 King and Queen of the Ring will take place live from the Jeddah Super Dome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on May 25th, 2024. As the name implies, this show will crown a new King of the Ring and Queen of the Ring.

Only one other Queen of the Ring tournament has been held in the past (2021). The tournament was called the Queen's Crown, and Zelina Vega was the first-ever winner.

It isn't yet clear who will be involved in the tournament, but there are a few stand-out performers who could win the entire thing.

Below are four WWE stars who should be crowned the next Queen of the Ring in 2024:

#4. Tegan Nox needs a regular push in WWE

Tegan Nox is one of the most underrated and underutilized performers in WWE. She first joined the promotion through NXT, NXT UK, and the Mae Young Classic. Today, Nox is a member of the Monday Night RAW roster.

The talented Welsh wizard was recently teaming up with Natalya. While there was some obvious tension between the two, Tegan is sadly lost in the shuffle.

Triple H and WWE may decide to shift Nox into a singles role once again. She could kickstart her push in a big way by competing in the Queen of the Ring Tournament and going on to win the crown in Saudi Arabia.

#3. Carmella could return in a big way

Carmella is a very successful WWE performer. She is a former Women's Tag Team Champion, SmackDown Women's Champion, and Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match winner.

However, The Princess of Staten Island has been absent from WWE TV since March 2023 due to her pregnancy. It isn't clear when she will be cleared to return to the ring, but based on her social media posts, Carmella is already back in fantastic shape.

If Carmella can indeed return to action and feels ready to do so, she could get involved in the Queen of the Ring Tournament. She calls herself a princess, so becoming a queen isn't a leap. Additionally, her former tag team partner, Zelina Vega, won the crown last time. Carmella winning it this time makes sense.

#2. Piper Niven could dominate

Piper Niven is another underrated and underutilized performer, just like Tegan Nox. She joined WWE after finding success in the Indies and Japan through NXT UK. She was a top star in the female ranks before being called up to the main roster.

Unfortunately, Piper was saddled with the Doudrop gimmick. Over time, she shed some weird aspects of her persona and returned to her Piper Niven name and moniker last year. Since then, Niven has won the WWE Women's Tag Team Title.

While the powerful Scot has found some success in the company, she could be a bigger threat with a proper push. That push could begin with the Queen of the Ring Tournament. She was the runner-up in the Queen's Crown Tournament, so it would make sense for Piper to go one step ahead this time.

#1. Tiffany Stratton has all the tools to rule the company

Tiffany Stratton is one of the most absurdly athletic performers in World Wrestling Entertainment.

The former NXT Women's Champion is already being booked as a top star in WWE, and she has lived up to her billing via incredible in-ring and microphone work. Stratton is currently involved in a program with Naomi and WWE Women's Champion Bayley on SmackDown.

If Tiffany isn't going to be put in a position to dethrone Bayley, the next step could be to have her win the Queen of the Ring Tournament. From there, she could earn a title opportunity at a future date.
