CM Punk on WWE's lack of respect for superstars, how he could have died twice

CM Punk

In an attempt to break the internet, Punk appeared in the Colt Cabana podcast this week and told out some pretty interesting stuff about why he walked out of the WWE.

He lashed out at WWE’s unfair treatments about the wrestlers and how he was forced to work on two occasions where he could’ve actually died. First of all, Punk was forced to wrestle just three days after his knee injury which could’ve led to a blood clot and eventual death.

This was the same way in which ECW original Chris Candido met his death and Punk despite the danger, Punk did what he was told to do.

The second occasion came just before this year’s Royal Rumble when he had a lump on his back. The WWE doctors refused to cut out the lump from Punk’s body and made him take antibiotics in order for him to wrestle.

He carried around the lump for nearly three months and once he quit WWE, he visited a doctor which was recommended by AJ Lee. There, he realized that the lump was a full blown infection. The doctor also revealed that taking the antibiotics given by the WWE officials for that long and working wrestling shows could’ve easily taken Punk’s life.
