WWE website confirmed that Alex Riley will have his surgery next Thursday but did not give the entire details and timetable regarding his return. They noted that Riley is having a procedure done that will fix the degenerative arthrosis that he’s been dealing with in his right knee. In what could possibly be a storyline injury, they added that Riley was out of action owing to his back injury which is a result of the recent attack from NXT Champion Kevin Owens. Riley noted on Twitter that he’s expecting to be back in the gym just 72 hours after knee surgery.
