Former WWE Star Nathan Jones stars in an Indian movie

WWE Superstars acting in movies is not a big deal as the likes of The Rock, Batista Big Show, Randy Orton etc. have been a part of several Hollywood movies.

But, a WWE Superstar acting in an Indian movie is something which the WWE fans and the movie freaks would have never expected.

But, it is time to change history as former WWE star Nathan Jones has recently acted in a Tamil (regional language in India) movie titled ‘Boologam’ written and directed by N. Kalyankrishnan and the movie hit the screens a week back.

This movie emphasizes the effects of a Private Boxing League which is started by a Television channel owner.

The movie has ‘Jayam’ Ravi Trisha playing the lead with Nathan Jones making appearances in the second half of the movie as Steven George – a psychotic boxer – who is unbeaten in Boxing and just returned from a ban which he served for killing an opponent with a cheap shot.

In the movie, Jones will travel to India to face Boologam in a Boxing match.

The movie has been declared a hit with a majority of the audience giving the movie a big thumbs up. But who is Nathan Jones? Many of them wouldn’t have been familiar with that name.

Jones began his career by participating in the World Strongman competition before moving to professional wrestling in which he had stints with World Wrestling All-Stars, World Wrestling Zero-1 Max and World Wrestling Entertainment, where he had a rivalry with the Undertaker and was a part of the 2003 Survivor Series team led by Brock Lesner that lost to Kurt Angle’s team in the traditional Survivor Series match.
