Manchester, England’s Jack Gallagher is set to hit the Raw roster. If you’re unfamiliar with him, he’s akin to a ‘modern day British gentleman’ technical wrestler who does holds and reversals that I can’t even fathom.
He’s fun, goofy, a little strange and foreign but he wrestles smart and has sniper precision in the application of his moves. Despite losing to Akira Tozawa and failing to advance in the finals, “Jackie Boy” is gaining popularity quickly, because he is wholly original with a solid background in the science of sporting combat.
He may jar some fans at first, but he will shine given the opportunity.
We’re gonna get some serious talent when the Cruiserweight Division kicks off proper on the flagship show with guys like Alexander, Gran Metalik, Gargano and Ciampa, Tozawa, Rich Swann...Kendrick’s returning and maybe we even get a little Tajiri action.
But the guy to watch is Gallagher. He’s more than extraordinary, he’s more than a gentleman, he’s Gentleman Jack. He’s coming to Raw on September 19th and he’s got dope trunks and will dropkick your face into your face. Politely.
Finally a Britishman who can take over the mantle that was left behind by Wade Barrett.
