Jack Swagger talks about his return to WWE TV, Alberto Del Rio and more

In a recent interview with Philly.com, Jack Swagger discussed various topics while promoting WWE’s Tribute To The Troops from Alberto Del Rio to injuries – reports dailywrestlingnews.

When asked about Alberto Del Rio returning to the fold and feuding with him, Swagger said: “Alberto Del Rio is an incredible talent. He’s an incredible superstar. I think he has gotten better since the last time he was here. I see a big difference in the way he handles himself, the way he’s wrestling and just a general look about him. It’s going to be a big test.”

Swagger also pointed out that now since he’s back on WWE TV he’s going to have to up his game when it comes to Albertio Del Rio, who he thinks has gotten better.

On the topic of injuries, the wrestler said: “You know, no matter how technically sound a superstar is, injuries are going to happen.”

The wrestler also emphasised that injuries were bound to happend no matter what as that’s the way it is in any sport, but stated that a proficient medical squad can play a huge part in easing injuries wrestlers suffer in the ring.

Jack Swagger, whose real name is Donald Hager, began wrestling at the tender age of five and after a successful high school wrestling career, managed to secure his big break on WWE back in 2006.

The 33-year-old, who is of German decent, has had a good run in the WWE and has held among other titles: the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, the WWE United States Championship and the ECW Championship.
