Back when the draft was announced, Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that WWE are bringing back old names as additions to the rosters which would be cut due to the brand split.
As a result, the name that was speculated the most by people was Kurt Angle.
He spoke to Mark Madden of Sirius XM and stated that it was not a matter of if, but when he would return to WWE. This set the internet buzzing, but Angle later cleared it out on his facebook page saying it was not confirmed.Now, it looks more and more distant. What Culture Pro Wrestling(WCPW) announced that Kurt Angle would be appearing on the October 6th tapings of WCPW:Refuse To Lose. Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow and Will Ospreay are set to appear in the same set of tapings as well.
Cody Rhodes and Kurt Angle are expected to face off.Kurt Angle is also appearing at ICW(Insane Championship Wrestling) on November 20th. Here is the announcement of Kurt Angle’s appearance on WCPW’s last set of tapings:
