More events like King of The Ring planned

- The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE are planning more live in-ring specials on the WWE Network. Now that traditional PPV is dead and the company has no restrictions on the Network, the feeling is that there’s no reason why they shouldn’t be showcasing more “must see” in-ring action to boost subscribers.

Like King of The Ring these events would take place during the Tuesday SmackDown tapings, so they most likely won’t go over an hour in length. Because of the new digital ring apron it’s now very easy to change the theme of a show on the fly.

- Hulk Hogan has been named the General Manager for WWE’s tour of Australia as a promotional tool. The announcement was made yesterday at a press event:

What makes Sting special? His first AEW opponent opens up RIGHT HERE.
