Legends, including Lita and Trish Stratus, have returned to WWE in recent years to have one more run with the company. Fellow Hall of Famer Molly Holly currently works for WWE as a producer, but she is not looking to follow in Lita and Stratus' in-ring footsteps.

Molly Holly wrestled for WWE between 2000 and 2005. The 46-year-old won the Women's Championship twice and the Hardcore Championship once. In 2021, her contributions to the wrestling business were recognized when she was inducted into the Hall of Fame.

In an interview with Wrestling Inc., the wrestler-turned-producer explained why she is not interested in wrestling again:

"I really don't believe that there's anything I could add to the business," Molly Holly said. "I just feel so complete in my career. I don't feel that it's like, oh, if I just had this moment. I already had all the moments. I really want to save the TV time for the younger people to have their moments."

Since 2018, Molly Holly has featured in three Royal Rumble matches and one Battle Royal for WWE. Her most recent in-ring appearance came in the 2022 Women's Royal Rumble, where she lasted 20 seconds before being eliminated by Nikki A.S.H.

Molly Holly discusses her current WWE role

Before matches occur, superstars discuss the outcome of their bouts with a producer behind the scenes. Molly Holly is one of many people who contributes to the on-screen product by helping superstars out backstage.

The wrestling veteran added that she spoke to legendary superstar and former NXT commentator Beth Phoenix before starting her producer role:

"So I was nervous because I wasn't sure," Molly Holly continued. "Beth Phoenix had told me, 'No, the business has changed a lot. All the things that you didn't like before are now not there. It's really great.' So I took her word for it and gave it a try backstage. And it was awesome that I did have a lot of my friends from the past."

Molly Holly added that she is good friends with referees Chad Patton and Charles Robinson, as well as ring crew member Nick Daw.
