WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash recently explained why Triple H didn't let Cody Rhodes "get color" in the main event of Night Two of WrestleMania XL.

The deck was stacked on Rhodes during his match against Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. The match was held under ''Bloodline Rules.'' There was a lot of interference from The Bloodline, as well as Jey Uso, John Cena, and The Undertaker.

In the end, The American Nightmare finished his story by pinning The Tribal Chief to become the new Undisputed WWE Champion. But some fans expected Rhodes to bleed during the match since it could have added a layer to the story just like when The Rock did it to him on the March 25 episode of RAW.

According to Kevin Nash, there's a reason why Triple H didn't let Cody Rhodes bleed in the main event. Nash explained that the company possibly didn't want to have Rhodes' bloody face as the final image of WrestleMania XL.

"Every image you have of the night he [Cody Rhodes] won is going to look like he was in a car wreck. Like you can't get any usage out of any of that. You think back at it from a standpoint of marketing, merchandising, and everything else; I mean, it's pretty hard to get national coverage of Cody going over and him getting his hand raised if he's (bloody)," Nash said on Kliq This. Cody Rhodes to defend Undisputed WWE Championship at Backlash France

AJ Styles would be the first challenger to Cody Rhodes' newly won Undisputed WWE Championship. Styles became the number one contender after winning a Triple Threat Match against Rey Mysterio and Kevin Owens two weeks ago on SmackDown.

The Phenomenal One then defeated LA Knight last Friday to earn the right to face The American Nightmare at Backlash France. Rhodes is now an official part of SmackDown after beating Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL.

However, it might not last long with the upcoming WWE Draft on April 26 and 29. Rhodes is eligible to get drafted. Hence, it will be interesting to see which brand The American Nightmare will land on after the Draft process.
