The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Vince McMahon's original plan for Wrestlemania was for Brock Lesnar to be a monster heel coming off from ending the Undertaker's streak and for Roman Reigns to come along as the babyface savior. The plan has been in place for at least a year.
Obviously this hasn't gone quite to plan with the negative fan reaction to Roman Reigns and the positive reaction at times for Lesnar. However if Lesnar decides not to re-sign with WWE and go back to UFC, the fans may still be inclined to cheer Reigns over the guy who is essentially walking out.
It what might be a subtle joke about WWE's many ongoing lawsuits, Vince McMahon Tweeted a photo from the Harvard Law School.
