UFC star Rashad Evans considering a career in WWE

Rashad Evans has enquired about a job in WWE

UFC superstar Rashad Evans is contemplating making a move to WWE after it was reported that the superstar had made an inquiry about a possible job in the show.

Evans who had already decided to end his UFC career suffered a setback when he injured his knee. Rashad who is recovering from his injury hasn't spoken to any WWE official, though it also looks very unlikely that the WWE would be interested in signing the 35-year-old.

Evans though isn’t the first case of an MMA fighter who has expressed his desire to be a part of WWE. Former UFC wrestler, Ken Shamrock is one of the best examples who went onto become one of the most famous fighters in WWE. Dan Severn is another prominent name who comes to mind as well.

Though the other way around of WWE stars trying their hand in other wrestling shows is also not something new as names like Batista, Brock Lesner and Bobby Lashley are some of the superstars who later tried their hand in MMA wrestling before returning back to WWE.

Despite being 35, Evans fits the bill of being a good investment for the WWE. Although it remains to be seen what job he will be given if he is signed, it is very much likely that he will have to start out with NXT where he will learn the nuances of professional wrestling .

His inclusion to WWE is a good news for both UFC and WWE as the later will get to witness one of the most influential fighters become a part of them which certainly will be best for business.
