WWE hosted their recent SmackDown exclusive Live event on Friday in Cardiff, Wales at the Motorpoint Arena, as a part of their European tour. The card boasted of nine well-executed bouts, with The Lunatic Fringe Dean Ambrose taking on The Phenomenal AJ Styles for his WWE Championship as the main event. James Ellsworth also made a ringside appearance for this match.

#2 Apollo Crews defeated Curt Hawkins (Singles match)
#3 Baron Corbin defeated Jack Swagger (Singles match)
#4 Nikki Bella & Naomi defeated Carmella & Natalya (Tag team match)
#5 Dolph Ziggler defeated The Miz (Singles match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship)
WWE Intercontinental Champion retained the title over The Miz, an interference by Maryse could not save Miz. The General Manager of SmackDown Live Daniel Bryan banished Maryse from the ringside after her infringement in the match. The founder of the Yes movement later celebrated Showoff’s victory with him in the post- match credits.

#6 The Hype Bros defeated The Vaudevillians (Tag team match)
After the Hype Bros took out The Vaudevillians. The Ascensions came out to issue a challenge after the match which resulted in Ryder and Mojo Rawley quickly squashing Viktor and Konnor.
#7 Becky Lynch defeated Alexa Bliss (Singles match for the SmackDown Women’ s Championship)
#8 Kane and American Alpha defeated Randy Orton & Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper(Six-man tag team match)
#9 AJ Styles defeated Dean Ambrose with James Ellsworth as guest timekeeper (Singles match for the WWE Championship)
AJ Styles defeated Ambrose with a roll up. After the match Ellsworth hits Styles with a no chin music as The Lunatic Fringe follows it up with Dirty Deeds.
