Former WWE star blasts Stephanie McMahon for RAW comments

Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty – The Rockers

Former WWE superstar Marty Jannetty hasn’t taken kindly to Stephanie McMahon’s recent comments on Monday Night RAW, with the latter bringing up Jannetty’s name while trying to create friction between Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, which irked the one time Tag Team Champion.

Marty, who has a history of run-ins with fans and former colleagues on social media, responded to McMahon’s comments via his Facebook account and posted: “Did that bit** just say what I think I just heard on RAW??? Steph…should I remind the world.all them kids might not be Hunter’s. ??”

Despite his fiery tongue, Jannetty – who is currently employed with Philadephia-based promotion Chikara as a wrestler and a trainer – does have a few things to boast about during his time at WWE (then WWF), with the wrestler having lifted one WWF Intercontinental Championship as well as one WWF Tag Team Championship alongside Shawn Michaels – with whom he had some of his finest hours in the franchise under the tag team – The Rockers.

The 55-year-old’s partnership with Michaels was so well received that the pair were the recipients of the prestigious Wrestling Observer Tag Team of the Year award back in 1989.
