WWE named as defendant in a recent lawsuit

According to a report by TheIndyChannel.com, WWE has been named as a defendant in a lawsuit filed by the family of a 36-year- old woman who died after attending 2008′s WWE SummerSlam PPV in Indianapolis. The PPV concluded with The Undertaker setting the ring on fire after his encounter with Edge.

The woman, named Susan Prim, told her family that she was having trouble breathing with all the pyro and hence they left the arena. She eventually collapsed and passed out. Her son told the paper that she suffered severe brain damage, resulting in her going from respiratory arrest to cardiac arrest. Her death is listed as a severe asthma attack.

WWE, along with 18 other defendants, have been named in the lawsuit filed by her family.
