WWE News: Lucha Underground star reportedly staying with franchise

Prince Puma is one of the most talented wrestlers around

Highly talented wrester Trevor Mann is expected to continue his association with Lucha Underground, where he goes under the name Prince Puma, and stay with the promotion for its third series and beyond and will play a huge part in upcoming storylines – reports cagesideseats.com.

Mann, who has wrestled across various promotions, joined Lucha Underground back in 2014, where he debuted as the masked wrestler Prince Puma and took no time in establishing himself, winning the inaugural Lucha Underground Champion title after overcoming 19 fellow wrestlers. He did all this barely a year after signing up with the promotion.

The 27-year-old began his wrestling career way back in 2003 but it wasn’t until three years later that he got his big break in the business, courtesy a five-man match in Insanity Pro Wrestling's Sacrifice, where he was the last wrestler standing before being eliminated by long time rival Chuck Taylor.

Mann then moved across various promotions including Chikara, Evolve, Dragon Gate and New Japan Pro Wrestling, with the last three still continuing to employ his services.

His talent and experience have resulted in various trophies and accolades, the most prominent being him ranked 16th in the PWI 500 list of 2015.
