WWE has officially announced the date and place of NXT's traditional Takeover event, taking place during the WrestleMania weekend next year. Dubbed as NXT Takeover: Orlando, the event will be held at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida on Saturday, April 1, 2017.
It will be held just 24 hours before the 33rd instalment of WWE's marquee PPV WrestleMania in the same arena.
The announcement was made by the on-screen WWE CEO Triple H from his Twitter account, followed by a press release on the official site of the company as seen below:
NXT TakeOver: Orlando to take place on the eve of WrestleMania 33
On the eve of WrestleMania 33, the Superstars of NXT will bring their high-octane brand of sports-entertainment to Orlando!
NXT TakeOver: Orlando takes place on Saturday, April 1, at the Amway Center, less than 24 hours before The Show of Shows. Fans in O-Town will get to see NXT's most heated rivalries reach their boiling point on the biggest stage NXT has to offer.

WWE previously announced Takeover: San Antonio which will take place at Royal Rumble weekend in 2017. So with this announcement WWE now has a Takeover event in during the weekends of each one of their 'Big 4' PPVs of the year.
It's also worth noticing that Takeover: Orlando will be taking place on the eve of WrestleMania, a place that traditionally belongs to the Hall Of Fame ceremony. This most likely means that the HOF ceremony will take place on Friday 31th March, instead of Saturday.

With Takeover: Orlando taking place just before WrestleMania, it's probably the biggest stage WWE's Development Territory has to offer to its stars. So fans expect it to live up to the hype and hope that it will turn out to be one of the most memorable events of the year.
