Current NXT Champion Samoa Joe took to his twitter account and cleared the air about the rumors of his elbow injury. As seen in his tweet below Joe revealed that the rumors of his elbow injury are completely false:
These rumors started circulating last weekend when the former TNA champion wrestled with a what was described as a 'heavily taped arm” by fans during a live event.Samoa Joe has been working with WWE since his NXT debut back in May this year. Originally debuting as a face, the Samoan Submission Machine quickly changed his persona and became one of the top heels of WWE's development territory.After several unsuccessful attempts at capturing the NXT title, Joe finally defeated the then champion Finn Balor on 21st April to become the new NXT Champion.It's notable here that before coming to WWE Joe was one of the prominent stars of WWE's rival promotion TNA.
