WWE News: Vince wants Shane-Undertaker to main event WrestleMania 32

Despite the questions surrounding it, this match eclipses the ”main event”

As hostility to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship clash between Roman Reigns and Triple H deepens the closer we get to WrestleMania, it seems the WWE have no choice but to bill the Shane McMahon-Undertaker match as the main event.

With the Universe fending off Vince McMahon’s attempts to force feed Roman Reigns to them, the Chairman himself has given up the fight and now wants the match between Triple H and the WWE’s face-in-waiting to take a back seat.

The only problem is that Vince’s son-in-law, Triple H, wants the opposite, according to the Inquisitr. If Vince gets his way, this will be only the third time at WrestleMania a non-world title match is the main event.

Vince raised the stakes further by saying that if Undertaker doesn’t snatch Shane’s soul, he will never set foot in a ring at a WrestleMania again. As much as we deplore the idea of that being an easy out, it cannot be discredited.

Another not-so-easily-ignored detail is the Dean Ambrose-Brock Lesnar match. This match further pushes the Reigns-Triple H match into the background with just the sheer popularity of Dean Ambrose, no disrespect to Brock Lesnar.

One thing though is certain; neither Vince nor the fans want to see the curtains closing to a deluge of boos.
