Colby McMahon is an 18 year old Derby native who suffers from Cystic Fibrosis, a genetic disorder that affects mostly the lungs but also the pancreas, liver, kidneys, and intestine. His dream is to build and operate a state-of-the-art website that celebrates and promotes outdoor sports and activities.
WWE made Colby’s dream come true this Thursday on April 28th, when they partnered with Make-A-Wish Connecticut to build http://www.tmrwsportsman.com/ in honor of World Wish Day on April 29th. Colby, who has been building the website with the help of his family and friends, happily accepted the helping hand when Make-A-Wish volunteers offered their support. With their guidance, Colby made his dream come true and even learned the art of managing a website.
WWE released an official statement expressing their gratitude and happiness to serve in the honor of making an young entrepreneur’s wish come true. Colby was chauffeured to the WWE headquarters and given a tour of WWE TV Studio. Colby also met with WWE’s Chef Branding Officer and TV Personality Stephanie McMahon, who surprise him with a visit and presented him a WWE Championship belt.
