WWE: Payback to clash with NHL playoffs game; CM Punk to appear on the later

WWE’s Payback pay-per-view is scheduled to take place at the Allstate Arena in Chicago amongst competition from the NHL.

On Sunday night, Chicago’s United center will host a hockey game of the Western Conference NHL Playoffs.

And hometown hero, CM Punk, will reportedly attend the game to watch the Chicago Blackhawks in their playoffs as he hinted on his twitter account.

CM Punk, who left the WWE back in January, has shown no signs of a comeback. During an interview with Red Eye Chicago, Punk played along when asked about his feelings for retiring at the age of 35.

Payback will take place on June 1, this Sunday and it looks like Punk will be on the opposite end of the action.
