WWE Rumors: Big SummerSlam plans for Women's Championship

Who's your daddy, Charlotte?

It looks like the WWE will stick to their guns when it comes to plans for the Women’s Championship at the next two PPVs. The advertised feud between Charlotte and Natalya will translate into title matches at Payback on May 1st and Extreme Rules on May 22nd, according to wrestlinginc.com.

It is now learnt that the original program was to have Sasha Banks win the title at WrestleMania 32 and then extend a feud with Charlotte until Payback and Extreme Rules. Those plans were changed when Becky Lynch was added to the mix, but that only sweetened the pot as the trio gave the Dallas crowd one of the best matches of the evening.

Reports have emerged that Sasha Banks’ title shot will take place at SummerSlam and she is booked to become the new Women’s Champion. The candy-haired Superstar never fails to rouse the crowd, regardless of the shade of her character.

Natalya has looked strong in her recent main event role, even tapping out Charlotte in their last match on RAW, something that went unseen of course, by the referee because Papa Flair finagled to the rescue. Natalya was awarded the win via disqualification, but not the belt. Here’s a video of the match:
