If a promo from WWE turns out to be true, then WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H, could return to the ring as a wrestler this February – reports dailywrestlingnews.com.
The revelation, which has naturally caused excitement with fans of the wrestler and WWE alike, came during an advertisement for a WWE Live Event which is to take place on Sunday, February 7th at the Abbotsford Centre in Abbotsford, BC.
However, one should be cautioned that neither WWE.com or Abbotsford Centre have Triple H listed as a performer as of now, which could mean that his appearance was planned as a surprise, now spoiled by the trailer.
It could also mean that it’s an error on the part of WWE’s advertising department.
If the ad turns out to be true, then it would mark the first time that HHH has wrestled since his appearance at a live event at New York’s Madison Square Garden show in March 2012. It wouldn’t be the first time Triple H has been at a live event since taking on the role of EVP, with the 46-year-old making several appearances at events in a non-wrestling capacity.
