WWE WrestleMania 32 rumours: Cesaro to enter Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Cesaro set to return to the ring in April

Of all the matches on the WrestleMania showcard, the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal is considered to be the least important match. Even Kalisto and Ryback’s United States Championship match beats this match in the popularity contest.

If there is one thig that will hurt the credibility of WrestleMania then it would be a match that no one cares about.

It has been speculated for a long time that Cesaro will return in April. The Swiss Superman’s untimely injury hurt the WWE more than they would like to admit. Very few superstars like Dean Ambrose, Kevin Owens or AJ Styles connect with the crowd as Cesaro does. His vast repertoire of moves has conquered the hearts of millions of fans.

The WWE has to appease its fans with regards to their interest towards WrestleMania 32. Now, the company is making drastic plans to satisfy its fanbase. It is rumoured that the WWE officials are talking about adding Cesaro as a surprise entrant in Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal to satisfy fans and elicit a positive reaction to the match.

As of now, only four spots are left in the Battle Royal. The WWE universe doesn’t care about any of the 16 superstars present in the battle royal and making one of them a winner will hurt the event early. With a lot of heat on the main event as well, the WWE will try to avoid another match with a poor reception from the fans.

Cesaro has also been advertised for all the live events in Europe which makes his return a certainty. WWE is sure to capitalise on this and pull off a surprise that no one expects. If Cesaro wins the bout, he will be the first wrestler to win two Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royals.
