Tokyo Paralympics Medals

The Tokyo 2020 Paralympics will take place from 24 August 2021 – 5 September 2021. This event will be the second time that these games have been hosted in Japan. The first time was in 1964 and they are second games to be hosted in Asia.

With the 2016 Rio Games now behind us, anticipation is high for the 2020 Paralympics Games set to take place in Tokyo, Japan. The games were announced at a meeting of leaders from International Olympic Committee (IOC), members of various international sports federations and a number of non-government organizations during the 125th IOC Session in September 2013.

China, Great Britain and Ukraine were the top 3 medal winning countries in the last edition of Paralympics.
