#3 AEW should put the TNT Championship on Darby Allin

It's time for Darby Allin to finally get his win over Cody and become AEW TNT Champion in the process.

No one can argue that Cody Rhodes has made the AEW TNT Championship credible in 2020. While Rhodes has already dropped the title once in a complete squash, it will mean a lot more when he loses it in a closely contested match.

Enter the man who's been looking for his marquee win in All Elite Wrestling since the company came into existence, Darby Allin. The strange enigma has had many incredible matches in his AEW career, including a few with the TNT Champion himself, even taking the American Nightmare to a time limit draw at Fyter Fest in 2019.

Allin's fanbase has grown considerably since that match and many are looking to see him get to the next level in AEW. There wouldn't be a bigger moment than finally getting his first win against Rhodes on pay per view for the TNT Championship.

With the championship win, Allin already has title contenders in the form of Team Taz members Brian Cage and Ricky Starks, and it doesn't hurt Rhodes at all. In fact, if this title changes hands. It will probably do a lot more for The American Nightmare than people realize, which we will cover later in this article.
