#2 AEW shouldn't repeat last year's Full Gear with The Young Bucks

They've already done this stipulation at Full Gear last year, so let's not repeat it for The Young Bucks.

Wrestling fans are feeling a little bit of deja vu when it comes to a title match at this year's AEW Full Gear. Last year, Cody Rhodes told the world that if he didn't win the AEW World Championship against Chris Jericho that he would never challenge for that title again. He lost, and a year later, he has kept his word.

If anything, it has taught us that stipulations matter in All Elite Wrestling. They aren't something the company goes back on. So for The Young Bucks to find themselves in the same situation this weekend is a bit unnerving.

While the build to this dream match probably left a lot to be desired, this stipulation wasn't needed to make it any better. This creatively puts The Young Bucks in a must-win situation. There is no way that a tag team like Matt and Nick Jackson should never hold the AEW World Tag Team titles.

Even if the reign is a short one, AEW must have The Young Bucks defeat FTR on Saturday night. This is a feud that should go back and forth for months regardless. This can't be one and done.

Hopefully, AEW fans everywhere aren't left questioning Tony Khan's creative decisions following Full Gear this weekend.
