At AEW Revolution, Scorpio Sky won the Face of the Revolution ladder match. He earned a shot at Darby Allin's AEW TNT Championship as the title match went down during this week's Dynamite.
Darby's ability to perform at the highest level was questioned because of what he went through during the street fight at Revolution. However, the reigning champion put on a good performance against his opponent this week.
Scorpio seemed more determined than ever to become the new TNT Champion, but Darby outsmarted him towards the end of their clash. He successfully cradled Scorpio for the three-count to retain the TNT title.
After the conclusion to their bout, Darby had nothing but respect for his opponent. However, a frustrated Scorpio responded by locking in a heel hook on the TNT Champion.
