When Hangman Page and Kenny Omega were part of a tag team unit, a lot of people believed that it was actually holding the current AEW World Champion back. Kenny Omega was only a shadow of the beast that he was during his NJPW days, and many assumed that once removed from this tag team environment, he'd become the biggest star in the wrestling business. To their credit, such has been the case.

But now that they've gone their separate ways, we can genuinely see Kenny Omega and Hangman Page mix it up in a series of fantastic matches against one another. Both men obviously know each other extremely well and can tell fantastic stories, based on their history. They are also exemplary workers that cannot have a bad match if they tried.
Is it a mere coincidence that Kenny Omega has The Good Brothers as backup right when Hangman Page aligned himself with The Dark Order, even if it's a makeshift association?
