Even though you, dear reader, may know who Kenny Omega is from his time in Japan and having followed his career in AEW, there is a wide contingent of casual fans that may not be aware of just how good, and how supremely talented this man is. On the other hand, Jon Moxley was Dean Ambrose from his time in The Shield, and he is a household name that everyone knows.

For Kenny Omega to score a victory over Jon Moxley would just launch him into the same league as the former WWE star, and the audience that does not know about everything that he has achieved in the business may be made aware of just how prolific the man is.
Jon Moxley does not need the title to be the top star in AEW, but Kenny Omega certainly does.
