#5 AEW Full Gear: Brian Cage (c) vs. Darby Allin for FTW World Championship
Darby Allin has been one of AEW's brightest stars throughout their first two years in business, and with all the fans on his side, it seems only a matter of time until the enigmatic star will be rising to the top of the mountain. Lately, however, he's run into a fairly large roadblock in the shape of Brian Cage, Ricky Starks, and Taz. After dispatching with 'Absolute' on AEW Dynamite, it seems only logical that Cage is next, and Darby may even try and take that FTW Championship from The Machine.
Will Hobbs is getting his shot at Taz's unique Championship on Dynamite, but considering how big a match it could be, it's highly unlikely, as talented as Hobbs is, that they will make a change on Dynamite. This match would be a classic underdog babyface vs. brute force heel. If given the time to shine, Allin and Cage would put on a classic storytelling bout with plenty of emotion and athleticism, hopefully elevating both men in the process.
