Daniel Garcia and 2.0 berated Darby Allin for winning because of his partners at AEW Homecoming and challenged Darby to a match at Dynamite during a backstage interview. The match was made official shortly after.

Joey Janela and Sonny Kiss walked out for a match but Janela superkicked Kiss on the ramp. He took out their would-be opponents before planting Kiss with a piledriver on the steel.

The former FTW champion started with a hurricanrana and a dropkick to take control. The Machine went for a discus lariat but RSP countered with an enziguiri and followed it up with a body slam.

RSP went for a senton off the top rope but Cage moved out of the way. Cage connected with the discus lariat hit a powerbomb and planted RSP with an F5 to pick up a quick win.
